Sleep in a award-winning and socially committed concept
The brilliant idea behind B-and-Bee was originally dreamed up by Barbara Vanthorre. In 2013 it won her the Instant Innovation Award during the VOSEC Innovation Point Do-ference. This concept was the very beginning of what B-and-Bee has now become: an innovative sleeping accommodation concept that is a winner wherever you happen to bee.
An exciting journey from concept tot finished product
Right from day one there was a hive of activity around improving the concept and transforming the idea into a series of practical solutions. During this ‘journey’ we were given support by professional partners including One Small Step and Achilles Design. The idea is now fully grown. The test phase has been completed, trials have demonstrated that the concept works. From now on we want as many people as possible at home and aboard to experience the innovative and practical comfort of our B-and-Bees. What are you waiting for?
Bee sure you’re among them!
Respecting human beings
B-and-Bee developed within the Social Economy, as an idea to help involve people with reduced employment opportunities in something new, something ‘different from the rest’.
We remain true to this philosophy! Indeed, when producing the units, selecting our suppliers and installing and even operating the units we try as much as possible to employ those who find it tough in a standard workplace. This is our commitment towards a better ‘inclusive’ society.
